Deluxe Family Digital Detox + Camping Adventure

Set amongst 54-hectares of native bushland in picturesque Piccadilly, arguably the most charming part of the Adelaide Hills, Woodhouse specialises in creating memorable experiences for the whole family. We help you unplug and reconnect you to the simple pleasures in life.

This overnight adventure includes 2 full days of unlimited access to a whole suite of recreational activities that can’t be found together anywhere else in the world! There’s no room for emails, social media or video games – just good old fashioned quality family time being active in nature.

Together, you’ll crawl, climb, swing and splash around 30 obstacles on Woody’s Challenge Hill, weave through The Labyrinth to find and answer the riddles, whizz down two fast and furious tube slides, conquer Cameron’s Climb, master Disc Golf and explore the beauty of the property on a photo or scavenger hunt or along one of our seven orienteering courses.

Bring a picnic to enjoy in one of the many green fields or picnic table areas, or cook up a storm on one of our free undercover gas BBQs. There are plenty of magnificent trees to just sit under and read a book – or to hug, if you so desire.

Once the site closes to the general public at 5pm, campers become part of an exclusive club with a community of like-minded people making Woodhouse their own.

As well as extended access to the fixed activities, guests enjoy use of in-ground campfire circles (seasonal), meeting our nocturnal residents on a night walk, playing spotlight in the forest… and more!

Your challenge for the Deluxe Family Digital Detox is to check in (or at least turn off!) your mobile devices upon entry to truly allow yourself to be present in the moment. We’ll provide participating families with ideas for fun ways to re-connect with nature and each other at Woodhouse and when you get back home.
