Walk through the beautiful trails of Mylor while learning to breathe with intention.
This experience is similar to a regular breathwork class, but with the emphasis on how to breathe effectively while exercising, for better overall mental and physical health.
Breathwork is the art of breathing functionally. In our abundant society we eat too much, drink (alcohol) too much and, surprisingly, most of us breathe too much. Not many of us have learned how to breathe correctly to keep us calm, maximise oxygen uptake, improve lung function, alleviate exhaustion, and stress, and improve sleep quality.
Led by certified breathwork instructor, Kym Jongebloed, this breathwork experience will begin with some introductory exercises as a group on Mylor Oval.
We will then head out for an hour walk learning breathing techniques you can take home and weave into your everyday. Ending with a visit to ‘Verte café’ in Mylor for a Q and A and a delicious drink.
For this event you will need to wear comfortable walking shoes and be able to walk for one hour along a bush trail. There are some gradients and uneven surfaces.
Come and try an introduction to breathwork – you will leave refreshed and equipped with useful skills for your coping toolbox.
