‘Walk & Talk’ with Kool Tours at Howard Vineyard

A cultural ‘Walk and Talk’ with Mark Koolmatrie and Tom Northcott of Howard Vineyard.

Come and Join Mark Koolmatrie and Tom Northcott for an opportunity to take a walk through Howard Vineyard lands and talk about past, present and future.

Mark is the founder of Kool Tours, an Indigenous Tourism experience and winner of ATSI 2022 SA Tourism Award. Mark is A Ngarrindjeri elder and a Director of Ngarrindjeri Aboriginal Corporation. Mark also has a touching documentary called ‘Seeds of Change’.

Tom Northcott is a caretaker of Howard Vineyard’s Clover Farm and Beautiful Valley Vineyards. Tom and the Howard Vineyard team have been implementing a biodiversity action plan to replant significant areas of the land back to native species to promote more local flora and fauna.

We will be going on a journey together – a short 2km walk along the creek line where Mark will host a cultural discussion of past, present and future and Tom will discuss the already positive impacts we are having on our lands through more sustainable practices on the land and in the vineyards.
