Piccadilly Trail and E-Go Bike Hire

Explore, ride and taste the Piccadilly Valley

Enjoy an escorted e-bike ride to three iconic cellar doors within the Piccadilly Valley.

The Piccadilly Valley is well-known for its production of delicious sparkling wines made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The Piccadilly Valley Trail is composed of 5 very different cellar doors in a special part of the Adelaide Hills. This guided e-bike tour will introduce you to three of these wonderful venues, but your ticket includes tasting at all five so you can visit the others at your leisure!

Start your day at the Republic Bakery in Uraidla for a cuppa. After an induction to e-bikes by the team at E-go Bike Hire, your guide will take you to CRFT, Tananappa and Greenhill Wines cellar doors in a relaxed tour of our beautiful Piccadilly Valley.

Not only does the ride cover some beautiful country, but at each of the wine tastings you will have the chance to learn about the wines and winemaking process of the region. Each of the cellar doors have a very different selection of wines and a unique story to tell.

At the last stop, Greenhill Wines, lunch will be served on the deck overlooking the country you have just explored, before the short ride back to your starting point at Uraidla.

The ticket price includes hire of the e-bike and protective equipment for the day, a guide, a hot drink at the bakery, lunch at Greenhill Wines and tasting fees at each of the five cellar doors on the Trail. Return at your leisure during 2023 to complete the Piccadilly Valley Trail experience at Lofty Valley Estate and Wotton Family Wines.

BONUS – Once you buy a bottle of wine from each of the five wineries on the trail you are eligible to receive a pair of Riedel wine glasses. All purchased wine and the glasses can be picked up when you visit your last cellar door on the Trail.
