Walking SA

Hiking Expo and Bushwalking Season Opening

Walking SA Expo

Celebrate the start of bushwalking season in Belair National Park!

With the arrival of cooler autumn weather, hiking is an ideal outdoor activity.

South Australia’s bushwalking clubs and Walking SA are coming together for this unique day in Belair, the first National Park in SA.

Enjoy perusing the stalls at the free expo – it’s a great way to learn about walking tours, destinations, and clubs, and you might pick up some new outdoor gear from the retailers! There is also a Bushwalking equipment and experience demonstration stage.

Feeling active? Join one of 20 guided hikes across spectacular Belair National Park. Ranging from 45mins to 3 hours, they include child friendly, dog friendly and accessible options.

Walks depart every 10 minutes from 9:20am to 1pm. Secure a place on a specific guided walk by registering online from March 2023, or just arrive on the day and choose a guided walk to join.

This event will inspire you to move those muscles and connect with nature!
